Courtney and Destiny are sisters who, like all of you, have learned parenting through trial and error. Courtney had her kids first and relied a lot on her mother for advice, so when Destiny had her first girl, the phone calls for Courtney started, “Is this normal…” “Is it normal that….” “Do normal babies…” When you get the books on parenting, everything is so generalized and cryptic. The only parts of the books we liked were the little boxes that gave “One mother’s story”. So that’s when we got the idea, how about have a place where everything is one mother’s stories, but lots of mother’s stories! So that is where the idea for “Yes It’s Normal” came about!

Courtney:

Courtney is 26 years old and a mother of 4. She met her husband Nathan when she was 12 years old and knew immediately that he was her soul mate. They were highschool sweethearts and married 4 months after she graduated high school. She has three girls, Ashlyn (5), Madysen (4), Kadyn (2) and one son Judah (newborn). She is a stay at home mom, which equals maid, cook, chauffeur, ms. fix it and more.

Destiny:

Destiny is 24 years old and a mother to one little girl Lyric (1). She and her husband Jonathan (who is a Belgian national) met at a school on the island of Cyprus. Destiny is a working mom, and wants to have another baby in the next year.
